Locks of Silver was a love child of Judges-the-Ice who sent the Metis away when he was born to be raised by the Children of Gaia.  He was loved growing up, as the tribe treated him as one of their own.  His metis deformity was unknown until he was old enough to change.  There was rumor that he was a perfect metis, which would have been a bad omen.  His homid form is female, while all other forms are male.  This was quite a shock for him, and he rarely changed to homid form after that day, preferring to stay in Glabros, where he was able to look like a normal person (fair Glabros Merit).

He grew to be a powerful warrior.  He identified as a male, the sex of his birth, so he almost never changed to his homid form.  However, the deformity was there to warn others of how Gaia despised the union of two Garous.  As much as he wanted to hide his hermaphroditic nature, the law of nature cannot be hidden.  He lived a good adolescence, but his true hermaphroditic nature started popping up more and more.   At first, it was only wolfsbane that forced him to change to homid.  Then, it was whenever he crossed over to the Umbra.  The tipping point was when he hooked up with a girl at a club.  He was making out with her, when he uncontrollably changed to his female homid form.  This was quite a startle for the girl.  She tried to tell everyone about it, but it became a case of "she was drunk off her ass".  From that day on, whenever he was sexually aroused, he would uncontrollably change to the female homid form.  Because of the incident, his tribe decided to send him away, because there were still rumors going around about what the girl said, and they wanted to let it die.

The elders think that the uncontrolled transformation will go away if he started living life regularly as a female.  This will take some adjustment, and he is reluctant to do so, but knew that eventually he will have to learn life as a she because of possible litany violations.  They sent her to the Denver pack, knowing the elders there have the love and leadership to support her during this adjustment.
