Nathaniel is 6'4" tall and has a solid, muscular build.  He has blue eyes and long, wavy blond hair, and usually has a light stubbly beard.  His usual outfit is jeans and t-shirt, with hiking boots.

He came to the Denver area from San Diego, where he was a detective.
