Dr. Brunetti fits a 1950's stereotype of an academic.  Standing 5'7" and dressed in a three-piece tweed suit, he has a scholastic demeanor, though his eyes convey a weariness not normally seen in a middle-aged man.  He is not one for coddling his students and tends to be rather blunt on his assessments of a person's abilities and effort.

Though short of stature, he carries himself with the confidence and self-assurance that one might equate with a general or leader.  With wavy black hair, he bears a classic Roman profile, and could easily have served as a model for an ancient Roman statue or bust.
