Eric has garnered a reputation for getting close to people that didn't want anyone close, finding out what they know and, if necessary, make sure that he was the last person they told.  Sometimes what he did wasn't pretty, it definitely wouldn't be considered "honorable." But considering the enemies that the Garou Nation had, sometimes lines had to be crossed.  The tricky part was making sure to get back across the line when it was over.
