Standing just over three feet tall, Professor Hingleswip is of fairly average stature for a Rock Gnome - yet there is a certain air about him which seems to bolster his presence in the room to rival the most imposing of humans.

His greying hair and knotted beard frame a weathered face, tanned forge-bronze from the Calimshite sun and countless expeditions across Faerun. His bulging trademark nose glows a deep red and there is a wild, almost vacant look in his eyes, as if perhaps he has seen too many adventures in his long lifetime - one that is fast approaching the one-hundred and fifty year mark.

When on one of his famous expeditions, the Professor will be found clad in a simple beige and blue explorer's outfit. Dust goggles are perched on his forehead and he leans heavily on a gnarled wooden cane, the handle of which is embedded with glimmering emeralds.
