Mord

Firstborn son of a Triplefang raider, Mord is proud to carry on the tradition. His father always praised the most rugged among his fellow barbarians, frequently telling Mord heroic tales of men who managed to survive against all odds through sheer toughness, ferocity, and determination.  Mord has focused himself on developing those same skills, so that his epic adventures can one day be remembered and passed down from father to son.

Although not highly religious, he worships Obad-hai, identifying with the god's endurance among the newer "upstart" gods like Pelor and Ehlonna, and the primal forces of nature that he represents.

Powerful men of the realms might tower over their lessers, but the mighty men of the Triplefang clan were powerful giants even amongst themselves, and at nearly eight feet in height, Mord Triplefang towered over everyone.  Some might argue that trees were tall, but trees shook in envy at the thickness of his thighs, or shuddered as they fell beneath axes wielded by arms the size of most men’s waists.  Few men resisted the gaze of his dark brown eyes without taking a step backwards, and the fools that thought Mord a cumbersome oaf because of his size… those men had learned a final lesson as the barbarian’s long brown hair whipped behind a far-too-swift strike,

When the battlefield drew quiet, it was only for the surviving menfolk to bellow out, “MORD!”  And that was only proper.

The leather armour warding his body was rumoured to have been fashioned from the great mastodons of legend, and though he was fearsome with the blade, it was his over-sized polearm of heavy silvered metal that bore a thousand names whispered in fear by the goblin tribes.  The goblins had learned quickly to fear the brilliant orange and yellow cloak flaring out behind Mord's frame.
