At the age of 14, Eva left home for boarding school, voluntarily estranging herself from her family.  She returned only once, upon graduation, and reconnected with her older sister, Araceli.  When Araceli left home a short time later, Eva followed suit, except she headed for New York City instead of balmy Los Angeles.

Now, living in an "artist's loft", despite having no artistic talent whatsoever, Eva seeks to find her place in the world.
