Katelynn fell in love with journalism after a tour of the local newspaper in elementary school. After exposing the embezzlement of a small businessman in high school, she was hooked on investigation. After that, she would investigate anything she could think of. Including her close friends. Her willingness to investigate anyone and anything had gotten her a fairly nice job with a national newspaper.

Emancipated shortly after expose article (which was about her dad). She was given a small job at the local newspaper that she used to survive until she graduated from high school.
