Tendaji Abraham

Age 23
Tendaji's father went missing when he was 11 years old, while their family was living as missionaries in the Middle East. Upon their return to the states, Tendaji's pregnant mother moved them to LA to live with his Uncle. Menyara was born when he was 12 years old, both a special gift after the loss of his father, and a harsh reminder of what they'd lost. Though his mother did her best, most of Tendaji's care fell to his uncle, who taught him martial arts and helped him to deal with the loss of his father.

As time went on, his mother became more depressed and withdrawn, leaving more of the care for the children on his uncle's shoulders. By the time he was 17, she'd stopped eating, and despite the efforts of doctors, she died shortly before his 18th birthday. His uncle was able to maintain custody of him, but Menyara was taken away to foster care. After turning 18, Tendaji has repeatedly petitioned the court for custody of his sister, but has been repeatedly denied.

Two years ago, while teaching a mixed martial arts class at his uncle's gym, Tendaji was "discovered." Asked to audition for a movie, he did, not expecting anything to come of it. To his surprise, he was given the lead in a vampire flick that did well in the box office. He's used the sudden windfall to pay off his small house, and invest in a new petition of the courts. In the meantime, he's continuing to teach mixed martial arts at his uncle's gym and frequently turn down movie offers (since 90% of them are awful).

Tendaji's parents were taken by a vampire as slaves when he was 11 years old. He was saved from the same life by an older member of the AP, who took him in and protected him while they attempted to save his parents. Unfortunately, they arrived too late to save his father, but Tendaji's mother was saved, along with the child she carried. After the birth of his sister, the trio lived in hiding for several years. But eventually, they were found again, and this time when his mother was taken as a slave, Tendaji was unable to save her. He was still young, but he took care of his little sister, keeping her fed, happy, and safe. Until recently. Several months ago, his 9 year old little sister was taken, along with several other children. Since her abduction, the entire focus of his life has been on getting her back.
