Almost never wears pants, preferring the dress or blouse/skirt combo. She likes wearing sky/ice blue, red and sometimes royal blue. She also likes wearing shawls, preferring a color that slightly contrasts but compliments her clothes such as a white shawl. Sometimes, she'll go with a full cape.
Other:
Beth likes wearing bows in her hair and has her hair in a high ponytail just as often as wearing it loose. The hair is long enough to reach the middle of her back.

Background:
About two decades back, an American woman took a vacation to France and met with a romantic who fell in love with her. The two soon got married and they had difficulty figuring which country to live in. The man was unusually unpatriotic to France, much as he liked the place. Still, even with it being hard to leave home, the man became American and moved back with the woman to America. Soon, they gave birth to little Bethany.

Bethany spent her childhood in America and took frequent visits to France growing up. Around the time she hit puberty, though, Bethany had a rather embarrassing moment happen where her dad grilled her about a boy she had a crush on and all the sudden began to glow. The parents did their research and learned about mutants. They lucked out as their daughter had a harmless power. Some mutants discovered their powers by killing people accidentally. Beth? She just glowed. As time went on, Bethany learned the extent of her power, how to control it, and the fun things she could do with it.

In recent history, she heard about a group of mutants forming and decided to give it a look...


Personality:
Bethany is actually quite sweet and tends to act rather naive. She is friendly, kind, and will show concern for even mean people. Sometimes, though, she doesn't even know someone is being mean. It's hard to anger her, but Bethany can get angry. Though it's unimpressive when it happens. Bethany is usually found smiling and being gentel. The girl is a little passive, but when she feels she is being bullied, she will seek the nearest trusted friend or loved one for protection.


Powers:
01) Light - Bethany can produce light from her body. Able to glow at any part of her body or all of it at once, she glows at about the brightness of a dim flashlight.


Abilities:
01) Tailor - Bethany isn't primarily a fashion designer, but she does know how to follow a pattern and make quality clothing. She sometimes tinkers with new fashions for fun, but mostly sticks with what she knows and already designed patterns.

02) French background - Bethany can speak french fluently and has both the French and American accents down perfectly. She defaults to American with a hint of french, but can go pure in either accent when she wants to. It can depend on her mood sometimes.
