Challia Lyolei

Full Name: Challia Lyolei.
Species: Mutant (Formerlly Human).
Gender: Female.
Age: 13.

Personality:  Despite all she's been through, Challia still has a kind heart.  She longs to have friends that she can hang out with and have fun, and to have a family once more.  However she is fearful of meeting new people and often times shy.  This due to the fact that while mutants may be generally accepted, the more extreme appearing ones tend to be shunned by more normal humans all the same. (Imagine tryng to help some lady who's being mugged by a two-bit thug, just to have her see you, scream and turn to the same thug to protect her from the 'monster'.)


Background:  Challia was once a reletively normal girl.  Her father was a top notch scientist who loved his work as much as his family, and often had her come help him whenever her studies allowed her the chance to.  Onesuch day as she was helping her father by collecting notes to be filed away, a group of bad-guys stormed into the lab.  In the chaos they caused an accident with the equipment that would forever change her life.
    Lab ruined, father no where to be found, a mutated and very scared young Challia managed to flee to the one place she thought she'd be safe until father could be found and fix things.  Her mother barely let her finish her story of what happened before slamming the door shut in her face and casting her out to the streets accompanied by only hysterical threats and rather colorful profanities.

Powers:  Despite her appearance, Challia doesn't really have any powers beyond what would be concidered natural for her body.  Compared to an average human, she's no stronger, faster, tougher, ect.  Though she does have rather sharp looking claws on her feet and her tail does have several boney spikes that could be used for self defense, or attacking if she has to.

Skills:  Challia really doesn't have any skills beyond what a typical kid might have.  She used to love to dance, try to be good at arcade games, and helping others.  If those are skills, then she has them.

Allignment: Good.  Even though people may see her as a monster, she knows it isn't entirely their fault.  She does look like some sort of monster after all.  All she can do is try to be strong and hope that after a while people will see she's a good kid that only wants to help and be accepted again.
