Beorn is a little tall and stocky as far as halflings go, building more muscle then average from days of hard labor and toil.  He has short but messy black hair, and black eyes.  His family has mid-tone skin, but his has gotten a little more of a tan since his days of labor in the sun.  He has a few faded scars on his face and arms, the most notable being a nick out of his right ear.

Beorn's apparel varies depending on his situation.  In town, he's prone to wearing simple peasant garb.  Unless planning for travel or trouble, he is unlikely to have weapons on him beyond his dagger.  When traveling, he wears a leather vest and shirt, sturdy boots, thick pants and a wide-rimmed hat and rough gloves; he'll also keep his weapons and shield close at hand.  Should he feel that he is venturing into danger, he will don his chain shirt.
