Appearance: Mara's mix of heritages shows in the coloration of her skin and the features of her face. Given to a more punkish look when she feels the need at least with her clothes. She is always a bit edgy in her styles. Mara's hair is kept long, a bit wavy down past her shoulders except for the sides which are buzzed off. Often she flips her hair to one side of the other to create a unique hairstyle of her own.

Mara sports a number of what some would call tattoos but are actually Sak Yant tattoos gotten in Thailand. Each of her tattoos has a magical purpose behind them; four on her back and two on each bicep. Her other tattoos are more about meanings in her life or spirit animals that guide her.


Personality: Mara Dane seems mysterious and different. People see her as serious and studious. Mara is highly independent and self-sufficient. Her acceptional intelligence and wisdom are quickly noticed, and people respect her. Mara is not one to attract people on the basis of her warmth or compassion - though she may be loaded with both - but because of her obvious insight into life's mysteries.

She is hard to get to know, and is often withdrawn. It is common for people to see Mara's focus turn inside of herself in the middle of a conversation.
