DESCRIPTION
Appearance: Red Hair, Green Eyes, Pride's Irish heritage shows through before you even meet him. Heavy drinker, who never seems to get drunk, Pride is a large, intimidating man and his square face betrays a rugged handsomeness, along with many inner demons. The man has seen too much, and it's obvious in every interaction he has that he has things that he'd rather not address. Just over six feet, well-muscled and scared, and covered with tattoos and symbolism from both Ireland and Russia.

Personality: Pride is quieter than others, and only speaks when spoken to or when he feels he has something to contribute. He comes across as wise beyond his years, mostly from not speculating on subjects he knows not about. He's quick to break up fights, and Dexter has used him as an enforcer to the degree he's allowed. Never really happy with Dexter's leadership, he also has no aspirations to power himself having seen what that can do.

BACKGROUND
History: He had a relatively safe childhood. Unambitious, and the oldest of several siblings, he sacrificed from a young age to care for them while his loose parents took care of only themselves. By providing this care, he lost out on the innocence of youth early on, and joined the military as soon as he could to continue to provide for his brothers and sisters. When abroad, he was enlisted into a special ops group that was sent to Romania to deal with vampires. As a result of this he was well trained, but he was also bitten by a werewolf in the old country. Since turning, he felt the urge to join another band of brothers. He left home, and the military to move to Shadowhaven to keep his family safe. He continues to send monetary support, but largely has cut himself off as a measure of protection.
