BACKGROUND
History: Johanna was born in Sankt Andreasberg in the Harz Mountains in Germany. She grew up hearing lots of stories about witches and magic and basically everything in the occult. Her parents are self-proclaimed ghost hunters, being skeptical on all things that has to do with the occult and believing that there is always a scientific explanation. Even from the time Johanna was young, they had hoped that she would follow in their footsteps. Unfortunately for them, she had found the peaceful beauty that lie within the nature based religion of Wicca and went on to become a Witch. When Johanna turned 14, her parents moved to Shadowhaven after hearing about some of the supernatural things that have occurred there and decided that they were going to try and find out the truth of what was happening.

In school, Johanna felt like an outcast but this didn’t dampen the girl’s cheerful spirit. Even the attempts at bullying didn’t really phase the head strong girl. One day, after school, Johanna was sitting outside near the performing arts building, waiting for her parents to pick her up. With her headphones in, she couldn’t help but be taken in by the music and began to sing. The choir teacher happened to overhear her natural talent and insisted that she join choir. From that point, Johanna became better known in the school whether that was good attention or not. She had even gained the attention of some of the teens who had already graduated thanks to a sibling and she found herself as the singer to a rock band.
