Personality: The Baltimore Kid is rather laid back. He doesn't let much ruffle his feathers, though he really dislikes the mistreatment of women. He is usually soft-spoken, speaks in a cultured manner (usually), he's polite and well-mannered.

History/Background: Although born and raised in Kansas City, his father worked for the railroad and was able to send Jeremiah back East to college in Baltimore (he had an uncle there). Returning to KC, his father was sent to Waco to assess railroad possibilities. Jeremiah went with him, with the idea of getting employed by the railroad. A gunslinger killed his father, and he insisted on joining the group of Texas Rangers to hunt down the gunslinger.

He'd learned to use a gun while he was growing up, but had no use for one in Baltimore, but it came back to him readily enough. After that, he joined the Texas Rangers as a more respectable image to deal with the increasing number of businessmen in the region.

Twenty-some years later, he's retired but likes the area and feels he is still a good influence. He earns a modest living as a gambler, a part-time deputy when needed, and he's thinking to start writing dime novels/penny dreadfuls.
