Characters History: Despite being born to a relatively poor family in the South, he was accepted to Westpoint based on recommendations from family friends, one of which was a Senator from Georgia. His father was an Army doctor, who was a staff officer by 1860. Wayne graduated at 19, one year early due to the extreme need for officers, in 1862. The Civil War was fully on. Wayne served until Sherman began committing Brigandage, at which point he resigned his commission in disgust.

He fought for the Union, until 1865 with distinction, achieving the rank of Captain. He was not the only southerner to choose the Union, and not the only one to leave when Sherman's "March to the Sea" began. He refused to rejoin the US army, having seen the horrors General Sherman wrought on the South. He went west, attempting to set up a homestead. He was unsuccessful because those around him all fought for the Union and hated anyone who had a southern accent.

After his homestead claim was lost he decided to try his hand at detective work. He joined the Pinkerton Detective Agency, and for many years had success. He has been promoted by the Pinkertons and given Southern Texas as a territory, in the hopes that he might eventually increase the Pinkerton presence in this part of the Country.

Goals: He hopes to increase the overall presence of his employer in Southern Texas. Despite his protests, he wishes to find a woman who captivates him and provokes the kinds of feelings he has seen in other men. He wants to be desired by someone whom he desires in return.

Likes: Being in control of himself first, his partner second. Everything else is gravy.

Dislikes: Vore, Scat, Gore, hardcore violence

Horse’s name: Chester
