Known as Em by her friends, or Dee to her bestee's (De-Montfort), Emily met Ewa as a young lady at boarding school. Now Daddy De-Montfort has asked the Prof (Cowles) to take young Emily on one of his excursions in an effort to prevent himself from tearing his hair out if she were back home on the family estate doing heaven knows what.

With a (boring!) degree in Geology Emily is bright enough, but really prefers to explore. Who cares about growing up when daddy has that much money? Indeed, miss De-Montfort is more comfortable climbing trees or shooting pheasants than acting the social butterfly at a prim and proper ball. As for Male admirers - as much as the boys at school might chase her cutsey green eyes or long brown hair - she has no interest in such things. After all, who wants to settle down and get married when causing trouble can be so much more fun?
