Cesca is a thin woman, stick-skinny, drowning in black blouses and dresses that wave about her like fins on a fish.  She is smothered in them; they match her pale features well.  She resembles the stereotypical Ustalavian, perhaps one of the middle classes from Caliphas, pale and big haired and focused on a single, narrow area of expertise, the way everyone in this land of the dead lives.  A singular focus is less likely to be lost, after all.

Cesca suits up but rarely, and when she does, her breastplate and spear seem to be uncomfortable on her; like things she never wanted but must have.

She is also terribly possessed.  Six ghosts reside in her mind, six souls in addition to the fragmented remains of her own soul.

She has never mentioned her past, but in Ustalav hidden things have a habit of leaping to light in whatever horrifying way will hurt most.
