Backstory
Niehenwe is the only child of the animal doctor, an elf who chose to settle in the small village, and the midwife of Shalton. Early on she was attracted to the mysteries and wonders of the animal kingdom and life.

So she chose the path of becoming a healer and joined the church with hope to learn the secrets behind the miracle of life. Sadly, the monks teaching her were too much indoctrinated in their faith that they failed to satisfy her thirst for knowledge. She did study among them the basics of mending wounds and treating illness through the use of herbs and medicinal plants but she was craving for more.
A few years laters, she realized she had learned as much as she could from their narrow perspective, so she left and looked for a new teacher. One versed into what she thought was more accurate and thorough: the arcane arts.

She found her mentor in the flesh of Tribble Gobberpot, a gnomish arcane master, renowned zoologist and senior lecturer at Castillion's University .
