Appearance: 6'2" and about 190, Don is all lean muscle and sculpted perfection. With piercing blue eyes and a tousled head of equally dark hair, he is one to stop the ladies in their tracks. As a detective for the Honolulu Police Department, Don is usually clad in a suit and tie, clean and classic. Off duty is another story, casual in jeans and leather, his favorite mode of transportation is his Ducate Cycle.




Personality: Don is a typical pretty boy, very used to his affect on women, and a few men, and not above using it to his own ends. But underneath all the playboy exterior beats the heart of a true cop, whose eyes miss nothing and whose no-nonsense attitude is an asset in any investigation. He is driven and goal oriented, once he starts on a case, Don will see it thru to the end. His easy manner has most of the detective team at ease, but most don't know the real Don, the one who struggles with cases that never got solved, and the one who yearns for a true connection.

Merits: Loyal, a bulldog when it comes to solving the cases thrown his way, honest
Flaws: can be narrow minded when it comes to the law, tenacious to the point of personal danger, very little sympathy for those who are not human



History: Don had a typical childhood, dad did blue collar work, mom was a stay at home type, and never had any issues growing up. Nothing except a burning desire to become a cop. So when he got out of HS, grades were good but not genius level. Bumming around odd jobs for a year,  he joined the academy when he could and never looked back, loving finally being able to do what he wanted to since he was a kid. He was top of his class at the academy, being a cop coming as natural as breathing for him.


Don himself rose quickly thru the ranks, making detective in record time, but leaving his commanding officer a bit cold, feeling Don was a threat with his aptitude for investigation, but it wasn't until his Lieutenant made a mistake and Don went over his head to the Captain that the man found a way to get rid of the up and comer. Don was rewarded for his initiative in solving a nasty homicide with a reassignment to the Honolulu Homicide, and all the shit cases they could shovel...and has been there ever since. He isn't bitter, he is doing his best to keep the people of Oahu safe, no matter what the danger.
