Lorain Messandi (69ABA8) is the daughter of Jothan Messandi. She is a young woman with dark eyes, dark curly hair and eyeglasses.

Currently working on her doctorate in xeno-archaeology, she recently headed an expedition to nearby Mirayn from the Institute for System Studies on Alzenai (the League of Suns capitol) to investigate the rumours of SKy Raider artefacts. She was also personally looking for her father and to prove or disprove that Mirayn is the original home of the legendary Sky Raiders. She found her father, as well as a fantastic cache of Sky Raider artefacts. There was also conclusive proof that Mirayn was merely a rest stop or Sky Raider forward base and not their home.

She is friends with Talia McKenzie and Sir Drew Kensing.
