Description:
Young, athletic, blond hair, blue-eyed Jack Straeder cuts the model figure of a young nobleman. He is equally at home
in social events, calculating jump vectors, or getting his hands dirty in an engine room.

History:
  Well-regarded, the minor noble family Straeder's first son, Jack was seen as a having a bright future having graduated
with honors, first in his class at the Imperial Naval Academy. He rated in nearly every subject.
  He served with distinguish during his first tour of duty and was awarded the MCUF during a skirmish with a Zhodani ship
during which Ensign Staeder was the only officer fit for duty during which his ship fended of a pair of Zhodani
ships, repelled a boarding party, and tactics saved almost all aboard in withdrawing from the conflict. He was awarded
Baronet by Archduke Aledon of Regina for his masterful handling of the affair.
  A few months later, Jack was challenged to a duel with son of the Duke of Vilis (who'd been the 2nd Officer aboard his
previous assignment in which Jack shone brightly). Jack won the duel, his opponent did not survive.
  A short time later, Jack was honorably discharged from the Imperial Navy.
