Ben is the SSOI 36's AI. He is an omnipresent AI that inhabits every single network tied town or city on SSOI 36. Ben, like his SSOI AI counterparts, does not show up on any other SSOIs. He is "stuck" on SSOI 36. Ben has no android body or bodies. He is purely a static AI existing within the very SSOI's network.

Ben is an extremely helpful individual with a smooth voice. He, like all SSOI AIs, has a unique personality. Ben has a subtle sense of sarcasm and wit, enjoys many kinds of jokes, is good natured, will often engage in intellectual and philosophical conversations with the willing, and is almost always upbeat.

His picture is a bit different than the usual SSOI AI's. His is a painted portrait. When asked about it, he explains that it is a commissioned piece done by a close friend of his that passed away some time ago. However, he is aware that most SSOI AI's take a picture of their original creator as their avatar. He has chosen not to do so since the time that portrait was given to him.

However, no one on SSOI 36 is old enough to remember a time when he didn't use that portrait.
