Sophie Hunter

Character Name: Sophia "Sophie" Dascha Hunter
Age: 17
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 100 lbs

Appearance: Stereotypically cheerleader-pretty, with deep green eyes and long, curly peroxide-blonde hair.  She spends a great deal of time on her appearance; it takes at least an hour a day for her to get ready for school.  Everything must be perfect- not a hair out of place or makeup smudged.  Sophie has been known to skip school just because a blemish popped out on her temple.  Her clothing is stylish with an attitude.  The clothes she wears are designer and often have embellishments that show her personality best.  For example, her favorite pair of jeans has a glittering rhinestone skull embedded into the back pocket.  Sophie's choice in shirts and tops that show off and enhance her almost generous assets has often gotten her in trouble at school in the past.

Personality: Conceited, obnoxious, ambitious; three words that aptly describe Miss Sophie Hunter.  She can be very friendly and personable- at least until she decides someone can't further her lofty goals.  Although she is very popular, Sophie has few friends and many enemies.

Occupation: High school debutante

Biography: One might think that Sophie's underlying issue is a lack of love, or perhaps a neglectful or abusive past, but in reality, the girl was simply brought up to be the self-absorbed spoiled brat that she is.  Her parents are very wealthy and neither of them have any problems showing their three daughters what they need to do in order to be powerful in the world at large.  The girls were told from birth that they were superior to everyone else and to never let the little people drag them down to their level.

Growing up, Sophie knew she was beautiful.  Everyone told her, even perfect strangers.  For a short time, she flirted with being a model, but after losing several in a row her mother pulled her from the competitions, saying that the modeling world was "not ready for a child of her obvious stunning looks".

In high school, Sophia uses her popularity and superiority complex to bully other students into doing what she wants, whether it be cheating on tests to becoming homecoming queen and head cheerleader.  Not that she deserves such titles, but she truly has a firm grip on how to manipulate people.

Six months ago, her parents took her two older sisters on a trip to France, leaving her in the care of an aunt living in Colorado.  Sophie wasn't impressed with the tiny town and she continued her bullying ways with everyone she met in town. That all changed once the zombies came.

Six months passed and Sophie has become quite a different person. She’s still spoiled and snobbish, but she isn’t quite as selfish as she used to be. She’s learned quite a bit about survival and medical care and does what she can to help the injured and sick.

Skills:
1. Cooking- Despite being a spoiled brat, the girl can cook.  While it's unlikely that she'd be able to create a steak au poivre or risotto agli asparagi, she can bake a mean cheesecake and I'm sure if forced, she could cook up a decent hamburger.
2. Shooting- As a young teen, her father taught her how to handle, clean and fire a gun.  He insisted it was necessary for a girl to have that skill to fight off undesirable suitors.  She is quite good at hitting targets, though she has never needed to fire at a moving object.
3. Horsemanship- No decent overindulged socialite could be without the knowledge to ride a horse.  From dressage to show jumping to just plain riding, her experience with horses is extensive.

Flaws:
1. Control- The need to have total control over everyone and everything often negatively affects how she deals with situations and people.
2. Skepticism- Sophie trusts no one to tell her the truth.  If she does not experience it herself, it must not be true.
3. Dishonesty- Seen to her as a talent rather than a flaw, Sophie can and will lie to your face, telling you she knows nothing about a situation even with the evidence in hand.
