Appearance: Though he falls a bit on the shorter side when it comes to his height, Nikolai Megalos is often described as intimidating by those who have interacted with him. Whether it is his serious tone, his stern gaze, or his near aversion to smiling, something has clued people in to the fact that Nikolai is a somewhat harsh man. His square jaw adds to this overall appearance and his thin lips are often set into a harsh line. His dark hair is usually cut close to his scalp, though he has been forced to cope with having it grow longer in today's world, and his thick eyebrows often knit together as he studies the stupid things people say around him.

Personality: The adjectives most often cited to describe Nikolai's personality have been 'humorless' and sometimes even 'cruel'. He firmly believes that he is smarter and more capable than most of the other people around him and has nourished that belief at the cost of any real and genuine friends. Though people often regard him as arrogant, Nikolai is actually quick and sly and cunning, often hatching out complicated plans that will keep him in a position above others where he can continue to call the shots. Though he does not care to fill the role of a formal leader, Nikolai is all too happy to silently pull strings and manipulate people into doing exactly what he wants them to do. He has never been one to take orders from others; the only people he has allowed to demand action out of him in the past have been the few that he truly believed would help him to maintain his position above others. His cunning gaze and mocking expressions often serve to mask his true intentions and he has worked hard over the years to perfect a means of controlling situations without arousing suspicion, making him a dangerous threat in this new world order.
