Ruthless beneath his veneer of class and polish, Cyrus Tolliver is Al Swearengen's main rival for control of town. He owns the Bella Union Theater, which bills itself as "family friendly fare" but is in realty just another gambling hall and whorehouse, though with higher production values than most. Cy himself matches his establishment, his charm and class hiding the rot and naked ambition beneath.
