Dan Doherty is a former Bushwhacker, and serves as Al Swearengen's bodyguard, enforcer and killer. When not doing that, he tends bar at the Gem Theater. He's a lean man with a close-cropped mustache and long hair, dressed in a Stetson and cowboy gear.
