James Longfeather is a lean but unremarkable man in his mid 30's. His skin is dark enough to mark him as a half-breed, but he doesn't speak about which tribe he comes from (he's half-Crow). He dresses practically in trail gear, and the only remarkable thing about his appearance is the gatling pistol at his hip, a souvenir from a bounty taken on one of Hellstromme's men a while back, and the ugly rope burn around his neck, a souvenir from escaping a necktie party.
