Grave Maker is the Captain of the Grave Company. He makes the decisions, he gives the orders. He is a brute of a man, but he is not unintelligent. While his sense of humor is not often observed, he does enjoy a good joke every now and then. While not of the sunniest disposition, he treats his men well. He is considered the Father of the Company and he treats everyone in his company like his child. Or his younger sibling, at the least. He is not the oldest member of the company, now approaching his fortieth year of life.

Grave Maker is not the original name that he had when he joined the Company, but it is the name most commonly used for him now. Upon taking the mantle of Captain, his name changed to Grave Maker. Thus has it always been with any Captain.

The Captain is a tall, large man that could grapple with a bear. His hair is brown and his face plain, but none can deny that he is in the best of shape. He is quite possibly the most well muscled man in the Company today. Like most men in the Company, he is light skinned.

The armor that Grave Maker wears has been passed down for as long as the Company has been in existence. It is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and sorcery alike. Every generation, every sorcerer, wizard, mage, sorceress, and enchantress to join the Company has worked on the armor in some way. Grave Maker is as much a legend and a set of armor as it is any particular Captain. The Grave Maker armor is the cold, pallid grey of necrotic flesh. It is a large set of armor now, but it hasn't always been so. It features upon it many death related trinkets and fetishes, as well as detailed decorative carvings.
