Andrus

Race: Human (Badawi nomad)
Age: Likely in his mid twenties
Height: 5'11" (1.81m)
Weight: Approximately 195 lbs (87 kg)
Hair: Black (shoulder length and slightly wavy)
Eyes: Brown/Hazel
Skin: Smooth, tanned and tattooed

A gentleman and scholar, Andrus is also the son of Khalil, head of the Badawi Nadir tribe - one of the richest and most influential nomadic families in the Katapesh desert.  The dark-haired Badawi warrior doesn't carry himself as such, however - though noble of bearing, he doesn't wear any ostensible symbols or trappings of his family's wealth or status.  His tattooes do speak of his heritage, however.  Though, they are mixed with much of the art that Tanit has also been inscribing upon Andrus' skin (a number of Andrus' newer tattooes have analogs upon Tanit's skin as well).

In fact, he keeps a rather simple set of accouterments, his arms and armour are well cared for.  Andrus now carries the magical scimitar and breastplate markings previously worn by Gavarel.  Like Tanit, he also has a bracelet of gnoll claws and teeth adorning his wrist.

His hands show the nicks and callouses that invariably result from training with live blades, as well as actual battle.  His cheeks and neck are decorated with the intricate (and sometimes colorful) patterns that the nomadic Badawi are famous for.  Andrus' voice is a deep baritone, which remarkably, sounds like this

Studious and meticulous by nature, Andrus carries himself with a rather quiet and thoughtful demeanor.  Though, he is quite animated when discussing matters of history and knowledge.  For him, martial prowess is a means to an end, to gain a greater understanding of himself and the world around him.

And, of course, he is rather protective of Tanit.

(Ou mata e matagi)
I have crossed the horizon to find you
(Ou loto mamaina toa)
I know your name
(Manatu atu)
They have stolen the heart from inside you
(Taku pelepele)
But this does not define you
(Manatu atu)
This is not who you are
You know who you are
