Carter Asadara is an unassuming man who travels from place to place with his pet rat Jinx and wearing a strange assortment of hats that seem to be produced out of nowhere. He acts as a sometimes investigator, sometimes negotiator, and sometimes rabble rouser. He clearly comes from common roots, often interacting with the working class in a way that only a commoner would. Despite that, he is an astute observer and a curious man, always seeking knowledge about the goings on wherever he goes. It's not that Carter goes looking for trouble, but somehow he always seems to find it. He has a reputation for helping those who are less fortunate and is notorious for opposing those who abuse their power.
