This behemoth of a serpent has metallic, aquamarine scales, broad draconic wings, and the glint of fierce intelligence in his sapphire eyes. He speaks respectfully to avoid being too intimidating, since he's generally peaceful until threatened. Unfortunately, being an approximately 6-meters-long, 2-meter-wide winged snake with a 9-meter wingspan frequently doesn't lend itself to looking friendly.
Among those who actually know him, Szurian has a reputation for being ponderous and sometimes a tad cryptic, but he's reliable and rather wise (you don't get to be 210 years old being reckless, after all). If actually forced to fight, he's about as relentless as one would expect from a guy with teeth that long.
