Personality: Rich is very much a friendly individual that gets along with almost everyone. He will trust his gut when he feels uneasy around some people and may not really acknowledge them until they prove themselves to him.

History: Richard comes from a Semi small town in the mountains of Virginia. Richard is an only child but that did not foster a bratty attitude. He was an athletic kid and he found his calling when he became a member of Coven Blake’s Quidditch team.

Richard is an only child but that did not foster a bratty attitude. His father and mother did well to keep that in check. Because of the location and the amount of people living in the area he was not able to be entirely immersed in the magical realm. He was educated in it though so he is familiar with much of it. Richard would spend most of his time either in school or with his friends. He played many sports growing up and his standout sport was soccer where he was starting keeper. He would also ride the family horses quite a bit.

Rich did learn a few things about living on his own but it was more basic ways of cooking meat and other meals. His family had quite a few animals and not all of them traditional pets. They ranged from cats, dogs, and other ordinary household pets to finding an orphaned deer and raising it. This was just one of the animals Rich encountered growing up. When it comes to animals rich is very much versed in taking care of them and how to handle them.

While at SWI Richard became the starting keeper his first year and by his fourth had made such a name for himself on the team, it was a unanimous vote in his favor to become the next team captain. In his final years at SWI he became quite proficient at non-vocal spells. His style leaned more to the death by a thousand cuts concept. He may not have been the strongest dueler but with his athletic background from a young age and the non-vocal spell casting he was quite impressive. At the age of 17 he was chosen to attend the Inter-Wizarding School competition in Madrid Spain. This is where he shined. He was able to best some of the most acclaimed duelist from the other major schools and by the end of it he actually had the best duel of his life in the finals against Gryffindor  prefect who had apparently been coached by the world renowned Ginny Potter.

The match had been a Knock-down drag-out dog fight from the beginning. The total length of time of the duel was Five minutes Forty seconds. There was almost no stopping or stalling by both duelist and the match was eerily silent. After the Match Richard was approached by the other duelist and his coach, they both congratulated him and when Richard had a chance to speak with them he found out that not only was the duelist an awesome individual he had indeed been partially coached by Ginny Potter and actually introduced Richard to her.
With all of that in mind Richard might have had the best experience of his life but it got better by the sheer fact that after informing Her that he was a Quidditch player and wanted to pursue it as a career Mrs. Potter actually put him in contact with the coach of the Roanoke Croatoans. This is where Richard spent his summer and the reason he was a bit late for classes.


Hobbies: Most of his free time is spent either practicing in some fashion whether that be drills on the pitch or weight training. When he is not training Rich is most likely sleeping. All that training is exhausting. Rich is prone to bouts of insomnia for no apparent reason other than to see how long he can go without sleep and still be functional. When he is not doing any of the three above Rich is a fan of socializing with his friends or attempting more intimate liaisons.
