Aerya is of moderate height for a woman and still quite lithe and youthful in build and appearance. Her eyes are notably large and bright purple in hue. She has silvery hair like her father, though there are some darker strands beneath, and her brows are dark as well. Sometimes, she has her hair plaited so that the silver and the brown are entwined.

She is known to be clever and charming and gives the impression of being a dutiful daughter who steadfastly adheres to the wishes of her parents. Aerya has her own interests as well. In particular, she has taken to doing charity work, pouring more funding into the orphanages and arranging for tutors. Such actions have made her quite beloved of the people.

Due to her father's protectiveness, Aerya spent most of her life in King's Landing. She was allowed to study in the East for a year, however, and her love of the fashion and cuisine caused such things to become popular in Westeros.

Aerya is an excellent archer and horsewoman, and prefers to spend her time exploring the countryside and the coast. She has a particular love of the Riverlands, which she finds to be slightly spooky, but all the more beautiful for it.
