Che is average in so many ways.  His eyes are a muddy shade of hazel, his hair a mousy brown.  His skin is ruddy and his lips slightly too thin to be considered handsome.  His ears meanwhile are slightly too large.  His beard grows quickly so that he has five o'clock shadow at noon but when he lets it grow, it becomes patchy and still doesn't cover his weak chin properly.  Sometimes you just can't win.

Despite his perhaps unfortunate appearance, he has an air of competence and of all round niceness.  He knows how to dress to minimise his unattractiveness and he knows how to speak, walk and act with conviction.  In fact, he does this so well that people who have met him a few times, have a slightly more handsome image of him in their memories and that's somehow what they see.

He's usually seen in the company of an orcish swashbuckler. Che often finds himself having to talk his friend out of trouble, or his friend returning the favour by fighting Che out of trouble.
