The son of Tamarisk Soft Foot the Master Hunter and younger brother of Bull's Eye Rakas, Salen Dustchaser cuts an imposing figure. Of above-average build with black hair and rugged looks, his expression varies from a blank gaze bordering on being distant, to a concentration of utter intensity and focus. He is extremely quick across the ground, and his bison Kohana ("The Swift") is a noticeably huge beast.

Salen is cool-headed, practical and patient. He rarely loses his temper and always maintains his focus in a fight, while using whatever means he deems necessary to get a job done. He sees the 'big picture' in all matters, and will sometimes make plans or act in ways that seem contrary to everyone else's expectations - such is the way of Condor.

Salen is a direct descendant of Vetash Boar Bane, a noted foe of Tusk Riders. His family owns 126 Bison.

Made a pact with the nereid, Aquamerina, and must 'visit' with her semi-regularly - not least because he has fathered a child with her, a Water Spirit, who now carries the Quicksilver Javelin given to Salen by Nathair Sliabh (for him to pass on to the child).
