While her husband (Jondar Runner of the Sky Watchers) yet lived, Becx was a caravan trader-traveller known in the wastes, Pavis, Prax and the Sartar marches. After Moonbroth she has settled down somewhat, sending others on caravans while she builds business in Pavis. Maybe one day she will travel again, but not yet. She shows no inclination to remarry.

Generally peaceable and pragmatic, she is also fiercely practical and not one for wasting time or seeing others stand idle.

She has not spoken with her sister for many years, but knows she's well and in trade elsewhere.
