Sehana is a fairly tall, muscular woman with her skin darkened by time spent in the sun. Her hair is long, unruly, and bleached to a lighter brown by sunlight. She looks to be nearing twenty, and her voice is typically calm and pleasant.

Sehana wears the robes of a shaman's apprentice under her hide armor. A golden pendant of Sun Hawk decorates her throat. She wields a copper battle axe and carries a square copper shield.

Her elder sister, Lihana, died at the Battle of Moonbroth, fighting ferociously for the Black Shield Clan. Sehana's father is Long Cast.

She is initiated in the cults of both Sun Hawk and Eiritha. Sehana's shamanic mentor is called Smokey Jojo.

Her bison, Drunken-Hoof, is so named because his gait looks so awkward; though he is a fairly brawny beast. Sehana's familiar, a cowpecker named Trill, usually rides along, accompanied by a small flock of the little birds.
