Valshen Ibori

Valshen Ibori is a tall, agile, half-elf woman who moves with sinuous grace.  Her skin and features have the cast of Tian, but her eyes are an unusual blue, and her long, flowing hair is snow white.  She wears close-fitting but modestly-cut garments suited for travel, and keeps both them and herself impeccably neat.  Her hems are stitched with Tian good-luck knots for prosperity and health and elven leaves for serenity.

She if often seen with a small smile on her lips, and tends to greet people in a formal, polite fashion; even those who are hostile.

All of her traveling goods sport the stamp of many nations. Her water skin is a Tian clay jug, her mess kit enameled in a Varisian fashion, her backpack like those of the Cheliax military, her simple jewelry Osirian.

She carried an ermine on her shoulder, often concealed by her hair until it pops out to collect admiration.

Background:

Valshen is the daughter of an elven traveler and a Tian man she spent a year
falling in love with.  Lithirea and Quan spend a decade together raising Valshen, and then decided it was time to have their daughter learn more about her mother's people.  Valshen had been born under an auspicious sun-sign, and was marked with bleached-white hair since birth, so both parents suspected she had a particular destiny awaiting her.

During the long trip back to her mother's lands, Valshen grew to love traveling and meeting new people, using her father formal mannerliness and her mother's grace to meet each new situation with aplomb. It also was becoming clear that Valshen had the attention of some strange spirit of the air, for not only was she exhibiting signs of magical power, her hair was exhibiting a mind of its own.  When they neared Lithirea's home, near the fringes of the north, an ermine named Miko came to Valshen in the night, and spoke to her about the spirit's need for her, and what power she could have if she accepted it as a patron.

For the first few years Valshen practiced her odd craft of both magic and martial talent with her very usual weapon, helping fend off a few bandits and beasts from harming her home.  But her childhood spent wandering had given her a need to seek out more places to go and more things to learn.  Her parents gave her their blessing and outfitted her for her journey, and Valshen has been on the road since.

Recently she has wandered to southern Talbor, and found herself in the
village of Heldren where she has stopped to rest a while before deciding where to continue on her journey...
