Makin is of average height  but with a sturdy and stocky build (5 feet 5 inches for around 160 lb : a big turtle shell will do that for you).  Despite the intimidating look coming with a reptile face and a dangerous looking beak, Makin's demeanor is usually gentle, or at least 'civilized'.

He does prefer using words before strength, but those who would choose the second options might regret it for he is quite skilled with his heavy mace. Confident about his safety thanks to his natural protection, he doesn't hesitate to take the front line whenever it is needed.

His scaly skin is a dull green with a few hints of brown, the color getting almost completely brown around his bald head, which only emphasis his emerald green eyes giving him a sharp-eyed look.

Used to the warm days and cold nights of the desert, Makin wears long but thin clothes, reinforced around his shell to prevent it from becoming too hot.
