Born on a colonial transport for refugees, 'Forge' is one of the few that can say that they were not born on a planet.  Learning how to strip components and prepare them for resale, he ended up getting an offer to join the Merchant Marines when the yard he worked at was taken over by Asiiarka Ltd. A natural when it came to shipboard fighting, he was offered a commission as the Security officer. Working his way up the ladder, his career came to a quick end when his patron was killed when the bridge was struck by a missile.

With no real place of his own, 'Forge' quickly looked for a way off planet, back to where he calls "Home"
