Like most of the Lyacaeus Mechwarrior bloodlines, Reika stands slender and of average height, more with a swimmer's or runner's build, comprised of tightly corded muscles. Unlike her nearest rival, Alaina Griffin, none can deny the beauty in her features. Even the predatory look in her icy blue eyes can't dampen it, nor the dangerous gait she has to her movements. If anything, they enhance it, as if one knows that the deadly experience that surely comes at her hands would be worth it to see the wolf inside fully revealed.

The product of a prestigious line of her House, her direct ancestor being one half of a near legendary pair of sibkin, Reika was the top Athemas for her generation. Considered a ristar, it was not because she had some advanced grasp of skills or great natural aptitude. She fought, bled, and tore her way to the top of everyone in her generation, and took her place as Alpha. Only the fact that Queen was already taken is what left her with the callsign of Archon.

That same attitude and drive carried over into her career in the 5th. She gained her house name at 27, refusing two earlier opportunities so that she could claim one of the first created. At 30 she challenged and won her Trial for command of the 3rd Battalion, leaving her Captaincy of the Wolf Guard.

The closest thing to a rival that Alaina Griffin has for leadership of the Athemas, even Reika is grudgingly forced to concede that the Griffin is her superior in skill. Still, their purposes often coincide rather than divide, and while both have unique visions for their people, the core of both is for the betterment of the Athemas as a whole.

If seen with her arms bare, a tattoo of a golden Cameron Star set on a set of black rings is placed on her upper right arm and bicep. Surrounding the star in a ring are the words Quis Custodiet Ipsos Custodes done in red. Done in special ink, the tattoo glows slightly even in the light, and brightly in the dark. This is the famous 'Brand' of the Gunslingers, illegal for anyone else to have.
