The "Otaku Prodigy" wears Kirin colors and the Kirin Mon, though only the observant would see her Family's Mon on her outfit -- a field of plain purple, signifying the purity of the Otaku Spirit. She wears a tiny Isawa Shugenja School Mon on her right arm, which the observant would be able to interpret as that belonging to a high-ranking Ishiken, beside an equally small Mon belonging to the Akodo Tactical School.

Reiko is but fifteen years old, and has already "almost" mastered her School. She is one of the few Shugenja permitted to attend the Akodo Tactical School, and the only non-Lion of that year-group. While publicly there are many that speak of her future in the Imperial Guard, privately there is speculation that she was admitted just so that the Lion would be able to get a preview of Unicorn tactics. If so, they are destined to be disappointed -- she has barely seen home since she was five years old, and knows almost nothing of Unicorn Battle Tactics. Still, she did well enough to gain a significant reputation for skill at the school.
