Tasha is fun.  Outgoing and generally happy, she's quite adventurous and willing to try just about anything once.  She's totally into comic books, geeky movies, science fiction and fantasy.  Sexy vampire stories are a major turn on, and she's not afraid to admit she's into Twilight.  She gets pouty when she thinks about the wasted potential that was Joss Wheden's television show Firefly.

All of this hides the fact that she came from a pretty bad background.  Her happy demeanor is something of a shield.  Her father was a couch-bound addict and her mother drank heavily.  They divorced when she was little, and she was shuffled back and forth between them...though neither really provided a suitable home or supportive environment.  Her fatehr was physically abusive, her mother emotionally so.  She was introduced to sex at an early age when one of her mother's live-in boyfriends chronically molested her...her mother did nothing to stop it.  Fantasy was her escape, and she embraced it wholeheartedly.

Once in a while you can see how damaged she really is.  She's not used to people treating her well, for example, and can be caught off-guard when they do.  Under the wrong circumstances, if she's forced to live in the real world and truly see it's horrors, she can break down into tears.  In the end, though, she believes the world is a good place and that things are in store that will take her away from all the horror once and for all.
