Your Story
Passions/Goals:

History
Lilly was an only child from a strict Protestant Christian family from Connecticut, and her parents who were both professionals never had much time for her. Lilly never put a lot of effort into school, leaving her parents who were bewildered by her lack of interest in scholastic achievement, disappointed with her academic outlook. Of course they were unhappy with her decision to pursue an artistic vocation, yet neither could disagree that she had talent. That talent won her a scholarship to the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.

Lilly excelled at her studies, but failed to make many rapports with her fellow students. She struggled often with shyness and a general sense of alienation. Her art often depicted realistic scenes that while perfectly made, did not push the envelope of what true art should be. As a result, Lilly was disqualified during her juries in her junior year. Faced with the realization that she would have to drop out or change majors, Lilly became depressed with the reality that she would have to give up the one thing that had carried her through life, and she contemplated throwing herself off a bridge. Lilly contacted multiple gallerys in order to possibly sell her art and make a living, but all except one rejected her work.

It was at her showing that she met a handsome poli-sci major named Jarrod. Her  noticed her work in the gallery and struck up a conversation. The talks led to coffee shop rendezvous, and eventually more intimate fun. Lilly felt invigorated by Jarrod, and her depression faded away as she had never felt so alive.

Jarrod learned of Lilly's interest in jogging and recommended a trail that ran along the edge of Lake Michigan. Lilly arrived with Jarrod's promise to meet her, but found the trail to be somewhat dark, and isolated. It was not long before she noticed a hoodie wearing figure following her through the trail. She called out several times, but the man followed her in silence keeping some distance back. For some reason she veered off toward the lake and found herself at a steep drop.  Lilly screamed for help as she considered jumping before turning to see if the man had followed her. Opening her mouth to shout for help once more, she felt his hands wrap around her neck, squeezing the life out of her. Reflexively, she kicked out causing the man to let go, dropping her into the lake below. As she sank, Lilly watched the man standing at the edge to insure she did not come up for air. The kelp seemed to part for her as she sank deeper and deeper. Her lungs were burning for a breath of air as she felt a hand take hers and a disembodied voice offer her her life in exchange for servitude. Lilly only nodded as her savior drew her into the garden and out of the world.

Seeming and Kith Abilities
Blessings: Elementals, touched as they are by the stuff of the world, are able to channel the forces and materials that define them into their bodies, giving them an uncanny ability to shrug off punishment. Once per day, the player can spend one point of Glamour to become more alive and healthy, even in the face of otherwise grievous injury.

Curse: The Elementals are further removed from humanity than other changelings, and find humans harder to understand and to influence.  Manipulating, lying, persuading, or even understanding human emotion is more difficult for them than others.
