Violet Eastholm
AppearanceWith her platinum curls coiffed into an elaborate style and vividly blue eyes set in stark contrast to the pale ivory of her skin, Violet strikes an imposing figure regardless of her fairly short stature. Her features are delicate as a china doll's, and equally impassive. On the whole she favors clothes of black or deep crimson red, a mark of dedication to the Ruby Sorceress.
Background
The sole daughter of well-heeled merchant house that verged on nobility due to their seemingly limitless vaults of gold, Violet was showered with luxury throughout her entire childhood and adolescence. Which really shouldn't have made it such a shock to anyone that she ended up as stubborn and contrary as she did, but this only became a problem when she refused her father's wishes to marry the elderly scion of an actual aristocratic family. Not at all fazed by threats of being disowned, Violet instead demanded that her father pay for her to become the apprentice of a powerful wizard that resided within the walls of the city. He balked at first, but in everything, eventually she wore him down.
Perhaps her father's protestations were right, for not long after she acquired her arcane abilities Violet got embroiled in a bitter rivalry with another apprentice that ended up in that unfortunate individual being polymorphed into a pair of shoes, something that Violet claims to have had nothing to do with. The scandal and consequent lack of business was the last straw, and Violet was from this point repudiated by her family. Accustomed to a lifestyle which she could no longer maintain, the young wizardess has taken up the sole profession which can provide one with ludicrous amounts of gold with comparatively little work, should one be lucky enough to survive, that is.
