Brief Bio: Childe of Owen Costigan, Mr. Frank Goodman is very well off as far as kindred in Erie go.  He has a noteworthy sire, an advanced skillset of his own, and had access to a sophisticated education before being released.  Mr. Goodman is a kindred Deputy.  His area of expertise is in dealing with mortal problems, up too and including organized crime, witnesses to kindred events, and making sure these problems never make it to the Sheriff, let alone the Prince.  To say Mr. Goodman is a cleaner is an understatement.

By the time he is involved, the situation is already beyond needing cleaned, and has since turned into cleaned, recleaned, washed, rinsed, dried, air dried, and then checked for smudges.  Mr. Goodman is the kindred that comes in behind the Sheriff and Deputies to make sure that they've sanitized the situation and that any loose ends that might have slipped passed them don't make it passed him.

To the casual observer, having Frank, or Franky as he usually goes by, as a Deputy is a mistake on the Sheriff's part.  Obviously, the Sheriff and Mr. Goodman's sire do not get along and from all accounts, Frank and his sire are on good terms.  This would presumably mean that Frank is in a position to help his sire against the Sheriff.  But the truth is that the Sheriff keeps Franky there constantly observing, double checking, and coming in after him, because it means he has to be all that much better.  If his enemy's childe is actively looking for mistakes he may make, the Sheriff has to try even harder not to make any.
