Florian Grunberg is a 9th generation Elder Ventrue, son of Kristof. He looks like an old bureaucrat who spends most of his time reading books and newspapers.Florian was one of the leading politicians in the German parliament during the Weimar Republic. Today Florian remains far from most Kindred social meetings. He interacts mainly with the Primogens and he is known to be  Wilhelm´s main adviser, when the Prince needs to find good compromises to solve the social tensions. Florian lives in a villa in the Zehlendorf district, near the university. He has consistent influence over the academic institutions.
Florian’s political vision is strongly inspired from the philosopher Hegel. He adores the dialectical succession of things, according to a historical development. When he speaks, he loves to expose things as if they were following a necessary succession. The Kindred society can be represented as a big system that resulted from history, and history speaks by itself. The Ventrue has realized about it, that’s why they are the protagonists of history.
