Dieter is a Brujah Elder, and has a place among the Primogens. He´s one of the most politically influent among the Kindred of West Berlin. In the 1930s Dieter was a kine, and like many young people during that period, he was a young nazi activist, enthusiastic of the way the Third Reich faced the Great Depression. He was embraced during the Second world War and his sire died under the Allies bombs. After the war, he disgusted the nazi horrors and totally repudiated his political past and became democratic. He was embraced and was accepted by Wilhelm in the West Berlin court. Dieter repudiated the horrors and crimes of the Nazis. He wants a political breakthrough for Germany to be a united, democratic place free from totalitarianism.

Dieter has the look of the young rebel, hiding the mind of a mature man. He has good influence over the majority of the members of his clan, regardless of their political ideas. He knows how to solve conflicts among different factions and how to protect them from other clans. The other elders are confident in his ability to isolate and mitigate the most rebel among the Brujah.
